In Punjabi families especially, they use a lot of ghee to fry the parathas and serve them with curd, white butter or pickle. <br />Palak Paratha is great way to include some healthy greens in your regular breakfast. <br /> <br />Ingredients <br />Oil <br />1 chopped onion <br />1 chopped tomato (remove the seeds) <br />Red chilli powder <br />Garam Masala <br />Chat Masala <br />Chopped Green Chillies <br />Salt <br />1 cup chopped spinach <br />1 cup wheat flour <br />Ghee <br /> <br />Method <br />Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add 1 finely chopped onion, 1 chopped tomato, red chilli powder, garam masala, chat masala, chopped green chillies, salt and mix it well. <br /> <br />Add 1 cup finely chopped spinach mix it well allow it to cook till it is dried completely. <br /> <br />Remove it in bowl and allow it to cool down. <br /> <br />In the bowl add 1 cup wheat flour, salt and 1 tbsp of oil mix it together, add little water and knead the dough for 2-3 mins and let it rest for 5 mins. <br /> <br />Take some dough and make flat rounds of it. <br /> <br />Dab a little oil and roll it in a thin disc. <br /> <br />Heat a pan, roast it and flip it over before adding ghee. <br /> <br />Palak Paratha are ready to be served!
